Dr. Niran Maharjan

Dr. Niran Maharjan did his MBBS from Tianjin Medical University, China, in 2006, and worked as a medical officer in the Department of Surgery at Dhulikhel Hospital, Dhulikhel, for two years and five months, and then continued in the same post at the Department of Neurosurgery at College of Medical Sciences, Bharatpur, Chitwan, for another two years and four months. He completed MS in General Surgery from College of Medical Sciences, Bharatpur, Chitwan, in 2014, and worked as a full-time Registrar at the Department of Surgery in Alka Hospital, Jawalakhel, for one year and eight months. Then, he joined the MCh Plastic Surgery Course at NAMS, Bir Hospital, which he completed in 2019. He has been working since January 2020 as a senior consultant plastic surgeon in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Bir Hospital. He has published a couple of scientific papers in esteemed journals of Nepal as the main author and several others as contributing author.
