Prerana Kansakar

Dr. Prerana Kansakar is a fellowship-trained ophthalmic, plastic, and reconstructive surgeon from the highly-esteemed National University Hospital, Singapore (NUHS). She specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the periorbital and facial tissues, including the eyelids, eyebrows, forehead, orbit (bony cavity around the eye), and the lacrimal (tear) system. Her main areas of interest are in cosmetic and functional eyelid surgeries, which include blepharoplasty (eye bag surgery), droopy eyelid correction (ptosis surgery), eyelid malposition (entropion, ectropion correction), and tumors of the eyelid .She completed her residency in Ophthalmology from Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology, and her MBBS from Chittagong, Bangladesh. She is currently based as a full time consultant at Grande International Hospital, Dhapasi.
