Dr. Deependra Shrestha, Professor and Head of Department, National Academy of Medical Sciences, Bir Hospital, Kathmandu, is also Visiting Professor at Prince Songkla University Hospital, Thailand. He did his MBBS from Bangladesh and MS from Institute of Medicine, Kathmandu. He has undertaken a two-year Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncosurgery at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center/International Federation of Head and Neck Society, New York, USA. His areas of specialization are head and neck and thyroid cancer surgeries.
