The New York Times, referring to an anonymous authoritative source, reports that FDA Commissioner Dr. Stephen Hahn was under immense pressure from President Trump to allow EUA for the vaccine, with his chief of staff asking the commissioner to resign if he didn\u2019t do so immediately. Pfizer has been paid in advance to supply 100 million doses by March-end, which will be free of charge to the public. Now, the company\u2019s goal is to get the first three million doses within the week to healthcare workers and nursing home residents. The vaccines will be shipped from distribution sites in Michigan and Wisconsin in boxes packed with dry ice to keep them at minus 94 degrees Fahrenheit, along with a tracking device and thermal probe to ensure the required temperature.
