Turkish Airlines in Kathmandu currently operates 3 weekly flights to and from Istanbul and beyond. Globally, the airlines has started operating to over 206 destinations safely and hygienically.
Turkish Airlines’ priority is to make sure that you have a safe and comfortable journey. As the national flag carrier, they have specified new criteria and taken new measures in all their procedures together with health authorities, drawing on the experience of Turkey’s successful fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Just to name a few, apart from thorough cleaning onboard, there are HEPA FILTERS (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filters in the aircraft that have a special filtration system that can remove 99.97% of all particles whose diameter is up to 0.3 microns in the air. HYGIENE Expert cabin crews are appointed in all flights, in charge of lavatory disinfection.
