In a significant move to enhance the quality of laboratory services in Nepal, the Roche Integrated Cobas Pure System was officially handed over to Dhulikhel hospital on the 9th of August 2024. This advanced diagnostic system was provided under Swiss support as part of their ongoing commitment to support healthcare infrastructure in Nepal. The handover took place at Dhulikhel Hospital, where the system will be deployed to boost the hospital’s diagnostic capabilities.
The ceremony took place in the presence of Her Excellence Dr Danielle Meuwly, the Ambassador of Switzerland to Nepal, Professor Dr Ram Kantha Makaju Shrestha, the founder and executive director of Dhulikhel Hospital, Mr Sushil Thapa, Executive Director of Diagnotech Support, authorized channel partner of Roche Diagnostics in Nepal, Dr Biraj Man Karmacharya, Administrative Director Dhulikhel Hospital, Mr Ashok Kumar Byanju, Mayor of Dhulikhel, Ms Kalpana Katuwal, Mayor of Barahathawa Municipality, Sarlahi and other distinguished delegates from the hospital. The program commenced with Dr Biraj giving the welcome speech for the ceremony.
Mr Sushil Thapa, the Executive Director of Diagnotech Support Pvt. Ltd., presented the Swiss Machine as having the lowest operational cost and total ownership cost in the market.
