Dr. Satyadeep Bhattacharya
Dr. Satyadeep Bhattacharya, MD, FACS, FASCRS, completed his general surgery residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Tufts University, Boston, USA, and his colon and rectal surgery fellowship at Brown University, Providence, USA. He then worked as a colorectal surgeon at Southern Illinois Healthcare, where he also served as a clinical assistant professor and the associate program director for the general surgery residency program at Southern Illinois University. He moved back to Nepal to pursue his dream of providing advanced colorectal surgical care to the people of Nepal, and is currently working at Norvic International Hospital, Nidan Hospital, and Nepal Cancer Hospital. Dr. Bhattacharya is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He has delivered numerous presentations at regional, national, and international conferences as well as academic institutions, in the USA and in Nepal, and has contributed to peer-reviewed journals.
